Foundation

Griffin Technical College and Flint River Technical College form the newly merged Southern Crescent Technical College. Each college brings a very strong supporting foundation to the new College.

The Griffin Technical College Foundation and the Flint River Technical College Foundation are separate and independent nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations and continue to operate independently at this time.

The Foundations provide guidance and help in securing funding for Southern Crescent Technical College to ensure, expand, and enhance the high level of technical and occupational training at Southern Crescent Technical College. Both Foundations are governed by a local board of trustees who represent positive leadership and community influence throughout the College’s ten-county service area of Spalding, Butts, Fayette, Lamar, Pike, Jasper, Henry, Talbot, Taylor, and Upson counties.
