Policies & Procedures

  • All tests will begin at posted times.
  • No one will be admitted once the test begins.
  • A picture ID must be presented during the sign-in time, no one will be allowed to test without a picture ID.
  • All tests will be scheduled in the admissions office.
  • Test scores are valid for 5 years.

Retest Guidelines

  • Test scores must be within 5 points of the required program score for the specific content areas.
  • Only one retest is allowed per content area.
  • Applicant must complete developmental courses if the drop/add date has passed.
  • A retest will not be given within 14 days of the original test date.
  • A charge of $15 is required to retest.

Post-testing Information

  • Students will receive an unofficial copy of their scores.
  • An Assessment Specialist will explain test results once exams are completed.
  • Scratch paper must be thrown away before leaving the Testing Center.
  • All items used (calculators, pencils, and unused scratch paper) must be returned and not left at the testing station.
