Need a refresher before taking the exam?  Come get hands on training for pre-trip inspection of all items using Section 11 of the Georgia Commercial Drivers Manual.  Students will be introduced to the six basic control skill exercises and practice each one. This course does not teach you how to drive.  The Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Road Skills Test is scheduled when the training is complete. 14-hour course, $350

Driver's Education

Complies with Requirements for "Joshua's Law"

  • Achieve “State-Mandated” Training for Driver’s License

  • Class Includes Georgia Department of Driver Services-Approved Defensive Driving Course
  • 36–hour state-approved course includes the mandated 30 classroom hours + 6 hours behind-the-wheel driving (this includes closed course and road/highway driving)
  • All applicants must have a valid Georgia Learner’s Permit by the first day of class. The National Safety Council’s Defensive Driving (Driver Improvement) Course is included. Successful completion of this course satisfies Joshua's Law Requirement and will qualify student for Insurance Reduction (restrictions apply).
