Go to Angel tab at top of website and Click on Angel login to Start Classes—Please keep in mind that Angel LMS is slow during the first week of the quarter so you may receive session timeout messages. You will not need to report problems unless you are given an 'invalid user' message or have no success logging in at all for a couple of days.

Online Learning
Welcome to the Online World of Education at Southern Crescent Technical College! Southern Crescent Technical College (SCTC) offers many online, hybrid and web-enhanced courses. A major advantage of online and hybrid classes is they help free students from the requirement of being in a specific classroom at a specific time. Students can logon and do their coursework weekly at the time and place of their choosing! The course credits earned online and content covered are the same as in a face-to-face classroom. The only difference is the content of the course is delivered via the Internet (using the ANGEL Learning System) and students learn on their computers at the convenience of home!
Online classes are not easier or watered down versions of the face-to-face course. In fact, they are just as rigorous and in some cases, provide a better learning environment for the working student. Online learning courses are not for everyone. Some people learn best by interacting face to face with the instructor and other students. To be successful in an online course, students should be self-motivated and work well independently.
Online courses can give learners access to courses on required scheduled courses, connect learning with real life, offer access to massive amounts of information, allow tailored instruction, allow retrieval of previously covered material, and provide experimenting in a safe environment.
