The 2023 Graduation will be an outdoor event that will occur rain or shine

*The 2023 graduation will be an outdoor event and will proceed rain or shine. For inclement weather, please bring a rain jacket or poncho. Due to safety and sightline concerns of the venue, umbrellas are not permitted inside the amphitheater.

Should severe weather occur, the 2023 Graduation Ceremony may be delayed. For the latest updates on the day of graduation, please check the college website and official social media channels.

Graduates, families, and their guests should park in the paved parking at the Amphitheater venue where available.

To ensure the health and safety of all venue visitors and staff, please review the following rules and regulations

Venue Rules and Regulations

• Students are asked to arrive no later than 8:30 a.m. before the ceremony for check in and seating.

• Graduates should arrive wearing their cap and gown to ensure the check-in process moves quickly for lining up.

• Graduates are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes as graduates may be standing for a period of time.

• Graduates will enter at Gate 3 and proceed to the check-in tables. It is imperative that you arrive no later than 8:30 a.m.

• Graduates must keep their issued name cards with them at all times that they will receive when they check in.

• There is no storage at the venue for personal items for graduates. Please refrain from bringing any personal items or valuables to the venue.

• Participating graduates will receive one diploma cover at the ceremony. Official credentials are mailed out approximately 8 weeks after final grades are received at the end of the graduating term.

Blackshear Photography will be available for photographs but please be mindful that time and space is limited

• Guests will enter through Gate 2, and are advised to make their way to the designated seating area.

• Kindly show respect to others and avoid saving seats

• Childcare facilities are not provided during the ceremony. All children must be under adult supervision at ALL times.

• Umbrellas are not permitted in the venue.

• Graduation gifts will be available for purchase at the venue prior to and after the ceremony, provided by the SCTC bookstore.
