What happens when faculty work together to explore new methodologies for the classroom? The QEP Faculty Peer Mentoring Program is designed to find out! As faculty learn from one another about active learning principles and metacognitive strategies, they redesign a course in which to implement what they have learned. In order to see how the environment for student learning is impacted, students in the redesigned courses self-report on their attitudes and behaviors toward learning both at the beginning and the end of the semester.
