- Applicant must possess a Master’s degree in History from a regionally accredited college or university or a Master’s degree with a minimum of 18 semester or 30 quarter graduate hours in History from an accredited college or university
- Prior teaching or training experience at the post-secondary level
- Experience with Blackboard Learning LMS and MSOffice
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- This individual will be responsible for teaching on-campus and/or online classes in History
- Under general supervision, prepares lesson plans for classroom and online instruction; develops program curriculum, course outline, syllabi, goals, and objectives; prepares lesson plans for classroom instruction
- Evaluates students’ progress in attaining goals and objectives
- Requests and maintains supplies and equipment and prepares required budget requests
- Prepares and maintains all required documentation and administrative reports
- Meets with students, staff members and other educators to discuss students’ instructional programs and other issues impacting the progress of the students
- Attends various professional development training; assists with orientations, recruitment, retention, and job placement efforts; the position may require committee and project assignments
- Other duties as assigned.

- This is a part-time position without insurance benefits
- Work hours will not exceed 29 per week.
- Hourly rate is commensurate with education and work experience.
