MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Applicant must have a Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or a Master’s degree with a minimum of 18 semester hours in Computer Science from a regionally accredited college or university. Proficiency in web design and development software and technologies required. Applicant must display ability to work with PHP, and must display excellent written and verbal communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: In addition to the minimum qualifications previous post-secondary teaching experience is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES: This individual will be responsible for teaching day or evening lecture and laboratory classes in web design and web application and have an ability to convey technical concepts effectively to different constituencies at a level appropriate to the audience, and an understanding of the mission of technical education.  Under general supervision, prepares lesson plans for classroom and laboratory instruction; develops program curriculum, syllabi, goals, and objectives; evaluates students’ progress in attaining goals and objectives; prepares and maintains all required documentation and administrative reports; attends various professional development training; assists with recruitment, retention, and job placement efforts. The position may require committee and project assignments. Other duties as assigned.

SALARY/BENEFITS:  This is a part-time position with no insurance benefits; salary is commensurate with education and work experience.
