HAMPTON, Ga. (August 20, 2026) — Advance Auto Parts celebrated the grand opening of its new Hampton location on Thursday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by company leadership, community partners, and local officials.
As part of the celebration, Advance Auto Parts presented a $1,000 donation to the Southern Crescent Technical College Foundation to support SCTC’s Automotive Technology program and help prepare students for careers as automotive technicians.
Dean Stead, District Manager for Advance Auto Parts, joined employees and community representatives to mark the opening of the new store located at 2484 Jonesboro Road in Hampton. The event featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony, community celebration, and a donation presentation to Southern Crescent Technical College.
“We are grateful to Advance Auto Parts for its generous support of the Southern Crescent Technical College Foundation,” said Dr. Irvin Clark, President of Southern Crescent Technical College. “This contribution helps strengthen opportunities for students pursuing careers in the automotive industry and reflects the importance of partnerships between education and industry in building a skilled workforce.”
Montrese Adger Fuller, Vice President of Institutional Advancement at Southern Crescent Technical College, also expressed appreciation for the company’s investment in students and the community.
