Griffin, GA — Southern Crescent Technical College (SCTC) proudly hosted a Pinning Ceremony on Friday, December 12, 2025, at the Event Center on the Griffin campus. The ceremony honored 40 Practical Nursing/Paramedicine to Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) Bridge graduates as they completed their rigorous nursing education and prepared to take the next step in their professional nursing careers.
The Pinning Ceremony is a longstanding and meaningful tradition in the nursing profession, symbolizing the transition from student to professional nurse. Family members, friends, faculty, staff, and distinguished guests gathered to celebrate the graduates’ academic achievements and commitment to the healthcare field.
Dr. Irvin Clark, President of Southern Crescent Technical College, delivered the welcome address, commending the graduates for their perseverance and dedication. “Today, we celebrate not just the completion of your academic journey, but the beginning of your impactful careers in healthcare,” said Dr. Clark. “Your hard work and passion have brought you to this moment, and we are confident you will make a positive difference in the lives of countless patients.”
