GRIFFIN, Ga. – Southern Crescent Technical College recently celebrated the achievements of its Practical Nursing Program graduates during a Pinning Ceremony held at the Butts County Performing Arts Center. The ceremony marked a significant milestone for graduates as they completed their nursing education and prepared to enter the healthcare profession.
The event featured remarks from college leadership, student speakers, and nurse educators, along with time-honored nursing traditions including the Pinning Ceremony, the Nightingale Pledge, and the Passing of the Lamp. These traditions symbolize the dedication, compassion, and commitment to excellence that define the nursing profession.
Southern Crescent Technical College extends its sincere appreciation to the Butts County Performing Arts Center for hosting this special occasion and to the Practical Nursing faculty and nurse educators whose mentorship, expertise, and unwavering support helped guide students throughout their educational journey.
