The Southern Crescent Technical College (SCTC) Foundation proudly announced the successful completion of its Fiscal Year 2027 Internal Tiger Fundraising Campaign, raising $20,722.86 through the generous support of SCTC faculty and staff. With 50.6% of full-time employees participating, this year’s campaign reflected the College’s continued commitment to student success and institutional advancement.

The Internal Tiger Campaign, which ran from March 26 through April 23, 2026, supports student scholarships and emergency assistance through employee contributions. Since the campaign’s inception six years ago, SCTC faculty and staff have pledged more than $300,493.60 to support students across the College’s eight-county service area. These funds have helped provide more than 485 scholarships to deserving students.

“I am so proud of our employees and the investment they are making in our students,” said Dr. Irvin T. Clark III. “The participation and amount of funds raised are outstanding. I applaud the team competition and cannot wait to honor the winning team, Team Hendrix, soon. I’m impressed with their spirit and dedication to our students.”

Montrese Adger Fuller added, “The Internal Tiger Campaign continues to demonstrate the incredible generosity and passion of SCTC employees. Every contribution directly impacts students by helping remove financial barriers and providing opportunities for success. We are grateful for the strong culture of giving that exists across our college community.”

To encourage engagement and camaraderie, faculty and staff were randomly assigned to 15 teams during the campaign. Congratulations to Team Hendrix for being named the top team in this year’s campaign. Led by Team Captain Rosanna Dove, Team Hendrix earned top honors through outstanding participation and support of SCTC students. As the winning team, members will receive a catered luncheon with Dr. Clark, a dedicated parking space, and a student scholarship named in their honor.

Team Hendrix members included Samantha Bell, Jeffry Buller, Brandon Bugh, Cynthia Conner, Steven Hendrix, Melissa Jackson, Dana Breeser, Rosanna Dove, Leah Lane, Jennifer Brady, and Michael Claman.

Team 6, The Mighty Cats, earned second place honors during this year’s campaign through strong participation and generous contributions in support of SCTC students.
