JACKSON, GA – Southern Crescent Technical College invites families, friends, and community members to attend a Community Demonstration Day celebrating student participation in the SCTC VEX Robotics Club. The event will take place on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Henderson Middle School, located at 494 George Tate Drive in Jackson, Georgia.
The event will highlight the creativity and innovation of students involved in the VEX Robotics Club, powered by Southern Crescent Technical College. Attendees will have the opportunity to watch students showcase their engineering, programming, and teamwork skills through live robot demonstrations, including driving and scoring activities.
Community Demonstration Day provides a unique opportunity for families and community partners to see firsthand how robotics education is helping students develop valuable STEM and workforce skills. The event will also highlight partnerships between Southern Crescent Technical College and local schools that support hands-on learning experiences for students.
Participating partner schools include Henderson Middle School, Griffin High School, Jackson High School, Ola High School, and Spalding High School.
Light refreshments will be served, and guests will also have the opportunity to learn more about how students can get involved in the VEX Robotics Club.
