Non-Emergency Reporting

Not everything that the Southern Crescent Technical College Police Department addresses is an emergency or even a crime. Sometimes you might see something that you feel needs reporting and sometimes you might just want to report something anonymously. Below are a couple of quick links for that purpose, as well as several non-emergency numbers.

Motorist Assistance

The Southern Crescent Technical College Police Departments vehicle assistance is free to faculty, staff, students, and visitors who have vehicle problems while on campus. SCTC police officers and other public safety personnel will assist stranded motorists with:

  • Jump-starting dead batteries
  • Unlocking vehicle doors
  • Safety escorts

These services are provided on a first-come, first-serve basis during operating hours.

Drivers of vehicles needing jump starts should raise the hood of their vehicle to help identify their vehicle. In order to have your vehicle jump started, a Liability Release Form must be completed and signed by the driver of the vehicle being jump started.

For drivers needing their vehicle unlocked, a Liability Release Form must be completed and signed by the driver of the vehicle needing to be unlocked.

For persons requesting a safety escort, call 770-467-4491
