Southern Crescent Technical College will host a summer camp on our Flint River Campus and Henry County Center. Each camp will focus on various STEM (Science Technology, Engineering, and Math) careers within technical education located on that particular campus. The camps will include educational opportunities, guest speakers, and career themed activities. Each day the participant will have an opportunity to become more familiar with the programs of study available to them through high-school dual enrollment opportunities and after graduation.
The participants will have an opportunity to take home projects as well as knowledge to share with their families and friends. Participants will receive a camp shirt and lunch each day (included with the registration fee).
Rising 5th – 7th grade

Careers: Logistics, Nursing, Cyber Security, Criminal Justice, and Mechatronics Engineering.
Lunches are provided to students (from Crescent Café) during summer programs.
For participants with allergies, we cannot adjust our menu. No meals will contain peanuts. If your participant has severe food allergies, please plan to pack a lunch daily.
No. There are no deliveries for students of any kind allowed while on campus including from parents/guardians and/or siblings. This includes all food delivery services such as Doordash, GrubHub, etc.
No more than 15 students will be in a room at a time. A teacher will be responsible at all times. The teacher is CPR and first aid trained.
Yes. All rooms, desks, high-touch surfaces, and technology will be cleaned at the end of each day.
Yes. Any person on campus will be provided with a mask if requested.
$250 per participant
Payment is due when you register. Your registration is not complete without payment, and unfortunately, cannot be processed until we receive payment.

Your student will be provided with all materials and supplies needed for success with all projects and activities. Lunches and a water bottle are provided as well, but it is recommended that students with severe allergies bring a non-perishable lunch. A light jacket is recommended. Please, no soda, candy, or gum. No, personal electronics are allowed including e-readers, DS, cell phones, cameras, tablets, and iPads. SCTC cannot be responsible for these devices.
Unless you tell us differently, SCTC may use photographs of your student in our materials.
While unlikely, weather and other natural and emergency situations may occur beyond the program’s control. If a partial program cancellation is required, no refund will be offered. An example would be a rainy day early dismissal or late start time to accommodate safe traveling of staff, students, and their families. Any short term unforeseen weather or other emergencies will not be able to be refunded partially in any form.
