How To Apply For A Position
- BROWSE available positions. Once you have selected a position to apply for you will need to create a profile.
- CREATE A PROFILE Click on the “Create Account” button located at the top left of this page. Include all information for the profile as it will be used for your application.
- LOG INTO THE SYSTEM which will direct you through the application process.
- UPLOAD your résumé, cover letter and any other required documents needed for the job.
All positions require screenings for pre-employment, criminal background and employer/professional references. Some positions also require screenings for drugs, motor vehicle record and credit report. Falsification of any information provided on the application, included in application materials or the omission of complete information at any time during the employment process will result in permanent removal from consideration of employment opportunities with SCTC and/or termination of employment.

Federal Drug and Alcohol Testing
To comply with federal drug and alcohol testing requirements and the SCTC’s policies and procedures for meeting these requirements, a drug screen is required as a part of the mandatory background check process for all commercial truck driving positions.
Jeanne Clery Act
It is the obligation of Southern Crescent Technical College to ensure orderly operation, to protect the rights of all members of the SCTC community, to prohibit acts which materially and substantially interfere with legitimate educational objectives, or interfere with the rights of others and to take disciplinary action where conduct adversely affects the College’s pursuit of its educational objectives. To this end, SCTC complies with the Title II of Public Law 101-542, Crime Awareness and Campus Security Act—also known as the "Jeanne Clery Act."
The Act requires the college to make available the report of campus crime statistics for the previous calendar year by October 1st each year. The SCTC Campus Safety and Security Report for the current period is available at Annual Clery Security Report A copy of the report is also available for review in the Campus Police Office, located at 501 Varsity Road Griffin, Georgia.
