Adult Education

Adult Education classes are designed to help students with College and Career Readiness, Georgia High School Equivalency (GED® & HiSET®) Exam Preparation, Life Skills, and English Language Learning. Individuals ages 16 and up are eligible to enroll in the program with proper documentation. Instruction includes individualized assignments, small group and large group instruction and activities, and online components in order to maximize learning opportunities. An array of class times and days allows students to attend classes without sacrificing job, family, and other commitments. All instruction, books, and materials are free of charge. Regular attendance is required.

Career Plus

Career Plus is an alternative Adult Education pathway that allows adults (ages 18 & up) to earn their high school diploma while building valuable workforce skills and earning college credentials, without the stress of a high-stakes test. The program offers flexible online and in-person coursework, the ability to transfer prior credits and HSE test scores, tuition-free options, and one-on-one support from Adult Education staff. Career Plus empowers learners to pursue in-demand career pathways, enroll in college courses right away, and take meaningful steps toward better job opportunities and long-term success.
