The Griffin campus of Southern Crescent Technical College was abuzz with energy as approximately 100 students and alumni gathered at the Spring Career Fair on April 17, 2024. The event, hosted by Career and Academic Planning, featured a strong presence of 50 local and regional employers eager to connect with potential candidates.
Employers were impressed with the professionalism and enthusiasm displayed by attendees, many of whom arrived prepared with resumes in hand and dressed for success. The fair provided a dynamic platform for meaningful interactions and discussions about existing job opportunities within diverse sectors of the job market.
“Our participating employers were delighted with the caliber of talent they encountered at the career fair,” said Adessa Green, Assistant Director of Career Services. “It was heartening to witness such promising connections being made between our students and these leading organizations.”
In addition to facilitating these vital introductions, Career and Academic Planning extends ongoing support to students seeking career guidance and employment opportunities. Annita White, Director of Career and Academic Planning emphasized, “Career Services is always available to our students who need help connecting with employers. Students are welcome to visit the CAP Center or register with TIGERLINK to review job postings.”
