Southern Crescent Technical College will offer a Spring Minimester beginning on Thursday, March 9, 2023. Registration for the intensive eight-week term is going on now and will remain open until classes begin.
“Minimester courses are complete classes offered in half the usual time,” said Kimberly Register, Vice President for Academic Affairs at Southern Crescent Technical College. “With our condensed sessions, students are able to choose from a variety of courses including online and in-person classes, so students can catch up, jump ahead, or get started NOW on their education!”
In addition to a regular 16-week semester, Southern Crescent Technical College offers eight-week Minimester sessions each semester. By scheduling courses this way, Southern Crescent Technical College can accommodate students who want to complete their programs more quickly. Enrolling in Mimimester 2 courses half-way into the regular semester also creates another enrollment period for students who missed the traditional start of the semester. In addition, Southern Crescent Technical College is also offering high demand, industry ready Pre-Apprenticeship programs during Spring Minimester 2. Financial Aid is available to those that qualify.
