The Southern Crescent Technical College Financial Aid staff is committed to providing exceptional services in finding appropriate means to assist in paying for a college education. Our goal is to assist students in financing their college education and making good choices on funding. Our staff will assist you in every facet of the financial aid process and in making your education as affordable as possible.

The first step in applying for financial aid is to complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), which collects information about you and your family's financial situation.

You should complete the FAFSA as soon as possible after October 1 of the year you are requesting aid. Southern Crescents Admissions and Financial Aid Documentation Deadlines are listed below:

Fall Semester 2016 – August 4th  

Spring Semester 2017 – December 8th

Summer Semester 2017 – May 11th

If possible, complete your income taxes (and/or have your parents complete their income taxes) before you complete the FAFSA.
