Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA)

The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) is a federally funded program. WIOA funds are available for dislocated workers, low-income individuals & out-of-school youth. The funds are administered specifically through services geared toward helping disadvantaged citizens obtain meaningful employment.

WIOA provides assistance with:

  • Tuition and Fees
  • Textbooks
  • Program Supplies
  • Uniforms and Tools
  • Job Shadowing/Work Experience

Visit with a representative from WorkSource Georgia at SCTC on the Griffin Campus in Building 200, Room 107.

Representatives are available on every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month.
