How to Register For Class

  How To Add Classes

  1. Login to Okta (https://login.sctech.edu) and click the Tiger Portal icon

  2. In the Student Registration card, select Register for Classes
  3. Select the Term/Semester you want to register for and click Continue
    *Note – When clicking on the Register For Classes link, it may take you to the screen below.  If you reach this screen, click on Register For Classes and then select your Term.

  4. Search for classes on the Find Classes tab by entering the subject and/or course number of the class. (the Course Number is the four digit number after subject.  ex. Comp 1000.) You can also filter your results by clicking advanced search.
  5. In the search results, click the Add button next to a class to add it to your Summary.
    **Clicking the add button does not register you, this step just adds the class to your summary similar to adding items to a shopping cart.**
  6. To Remove a pending class, select Remove from the Action drop down menu and then click the Submit button.
  7. Classess added to your Summary will appear by date and in the the Schedule section of the page. You can also click the Schedule Details Tab to see more information about a class.
  8. To complete your registration, review the classes in your Summary and click Submit to register
  9. Succesfully registered courses will change from “Pending” to “Registered” in the status column of the Summary.
  10. You can confirm your schedule by clicking on the Schedule and Options tab.  If it is blank, you forgot to click the submit button.

 

  1. Login to Okta (https://login.sctech.edu) and click the Tiger Portal icon
  2. In the Student Registration card, select Register for Classes
  3. In the Summary panel you will see the your registered classes.
  4. For the class you want to drop, select Drop – Banner Web from the Action Menu and click the Submit button.
    *Note: During the drop/add period only use the  Drop – Banner Web option.  After that period, select W/D withdraw before midterm.
